Ahh there it is. For the value to stick you must do a search. Once the search is done the value is saved to whatever you have the limit set to. 5000 is just the max you can have as the value there. Just to confirm, when you change the "Limit results" to 5000, are you searching right after or are you closing the window out and coming back?

I am changing the number and then backing out. When I come back in, the number is still the same so I assume that I am missing something.

Yes I do.

So, I tried to increase the limit from 1000 to 5000 and for some reaason it does not change. It remains at 1000.

The situation is that I created a large invoice (many entries) for a job we did and I billed to the wrong customer that had a vehicle exactly the same as the one we had in the shop. Is there any way to change the invoice to the correct owner or must I delete that invoice and create a new one?
