Copy/Paste or Duplicate
This is what I want to do. Create a new appt or Shop Event, then duplicate it and move it to additional techs. Like a traditional ctrl c, / ctrl v system or click/hold/drag/drop. Or, if there's a way, to make one event and have it show up on all tech portions of the appointment screen. Example: I wa...

Re: Closed Invoices Reopen Themselves?

Re: Closed Invoices Reopen Themselves?
I figured I would wake up this post and see if anyone has found a fix. It has been a few years now and I still have closed invoices reopening themselves and still havent found a correlation. I've called tech support and they have not been able to help. Anybody?

Re: Closed invoices reopen themselves
There is four of us that use the program and two of our guys do not even know how to unpost an invoice. I showed them to make sure that it was not them and it does not seem to be operator error. This has been happening for less than a year as well and we have had the program since 2006.

Re: Ghost technicians
Our guys can be deleted or inactive and they still randomly show up. When choosing a tech in the drop down only active techs are there. The odd thing is that service advisors are never in the labor drop down menu but yet one keeps showing up.

Re: Autovitals to Mobile Manager
Update - We have made the switch to Bolt on and the results were as expected or better. Quite happy with the program and would definitely recommend it. Support is pretty much instant and it integrates perfectly.

Re: Ghost technicians
That is a good thought and may have something to do with it. We do copy and paste allot. Super strange how one service advisor keeps keeps getting assigned though.

Ghost Technicians?
Does anyone have any input? Technicians assigned to labor on a work order are mysteriously changing. I have been calling support every 6 months or so and have not been able to get anyone that can fix it. It doesnt seam to matter if the work order is open or closed, doesnt matter how many jobs are on...

Closed Invoices Reopen Themselves?
We have been finding an increasing amount of posted invoices that magically reopen themselves and end up on the WIP screen as an open work order. At first I thought my bookeeper was doing something incorrectly but it has happened to me as well. There doesnt seam to be any correlation. After a random...

Re: Autovitals to Mobile Manager
I called a couple shops using the Bolt on program and it sounds like it integrates very well. A program with less features seams better than a program with tons of features that do not consistently work. The projected Bolt On update sounds interesting and I look forward to hearing more about that. T...

Autovitals to Mobile Manager
How well does the bolt on software monitor shop production? We have Autovitals right now and our workflow screen easily lets us know who is working on what, how long they have been punched on to the job and if they are on time. On the surface Autovitals is a great looking system but we are looking a...

Re: Auto Backups Disabling Autovitals?
We are doing manual updates right now to avoid future problems but yes, it is a huge flaw in the Autovitals program and very frustrating. If I could get auto updates any time after 5pm and before 5am that would cure the problem as well. Is that a possibility? This way the system wont crash and I don...

Auto Backups Disabling Autovitals?
Mitchell has automatic back ups that will stop Autovitals from working. Autovitals will continue to be inoperable until a technician manually reboots the program. This usually results in no work orders and a huge communication disruption in the shop for an hour or so. I have manually disabled automa...

Re: Scheduler Starts On Following Day?
Actually figured it out. I was double clinking the icon for the scheduler, its really slow to respond, so I hit her twice. The second click hits the forward button in advance of the page loading.

Scheduler Starts On Following Day?
I have been noticing that when I start Mitchell in the morning, then the scheduler open, that it starts in the following day instead of today. (Today (Thursday) on Fridays work day)

Re: Requested Scheduler Deletes
The auto adjust option does not stay unchecked? I tried logging everyone out of Mitchell and unchecking the box but after a random amount of time I will find that 'auto adjust' appointment time is active again?

Re: Requested Scheduler Deletes
Thanks for the reply! I like it allot better with the auto adjust off.
I disagree with the new shop event though. If I want to book time on the schedule for a tech being away it is just as easy to make an appointment with his name on it.

schedule example.JPG schedule example.JPG We haven't received the newest update yet but I hope some of these are part of the update: -All day job is a useless option: if a scheduled appointment goes into an "all day event" then the schedule block runs into a tiny block at the very top of the schedu...

Re: SE 7.0 Scheduler Workflow
<<<It is not possible to offer a switching between schedules, as the amount of data saved is completely different.
