Re: POLL: Types of Vehicles You Work On
i voted "anything that moves" because although we do mostly domestic & foreign vehicles as well as light duty trucks, we do on occasion work on diesels, motorcycles, boat motors, motor homes, 4-wheelers & etc. Heck! The other day we had a good customer of ours bring in his Kawasaki Mule & his tiller...

2003 Olds Alero - 2.2L Fuel Pump Wiring
We are looking for the wiring harness diagram to the fuel pump. We installed a new fuel pump but are having issues with the wiring. For some reason I cannot access OnDemand5 on my PC at this moment. I guess I have a bug of some sort. Could anyone possibly fax or email me a picture?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: '06 Nissan Maxima-Fuel Type
Yes, 91 octane for that engine. Higher octane fuels are more resistant to igniting by compression rather than the spark, which allows manufacturers to increase the compression of their engines. A fuel mixture ignited by compression is called knock. Knock is bad. What occurs is the flame front...

2006 Nissan Maxima - Fuel Type?
We have a customer with a '06 Maxima with a 3.5 engine who was told by the dealer to use only premium fuel in her vehicle. Is this truely recommended & if so, does anyone know why?

I'm still a Myspace fan and of course the clubhouse here! I just don't like Facebook no matter how often I try to get use to it. I've never heard of Twitter.

Re: POLL: Where Do You Access The Forum From?
I access it only from my place of business. I strongly feel that when I am home, my business must stay att eh shop and I spend time, quality time with the family (what is left at home). All too soon we are older and wonder where did the years get too. I feel the same way but I have accessed it from...

We require safety glasses only when the work being done is a potential situation for an eye injury. Our techs always use common sense & they are readily available at anytime.

Re: POLL: Your Forum Usage
Yes but it would be nice to know there are people at least reading the posts from time to time even if we never hear a peep out of them. Shops who use Mitchell1 or ShopKey can get so much more out of their software subscription by logging into the forum sometime. It's become so much more to me than ...

Re: One Shop Recounts The Benefits Of Tech Support
I guess I should have been a little more specific. We own ours but haven't bought any updates for a while now. (That is out of my control...sorry) I believe in updates. Anyways, when I ran into a problem awhile back with our "out of date program", tech support of course wasn't very much help. So! If...
