yes only at low rpms but not in the shop or idle. only does it when it seems to shift to the next gear.

new spark plugs, wires, coils, cleaned mass air flow. i have even put the seefoam stuff in gas tank to clean injectors. i have no fault codes on injectors when driving the truck. if i drive this truck with the scanner hooked up over the weekend i will get differnt missfires for each cylnder at a tim...

i did the brake stand and had no miss. if im getting on the interstate i have no miss. it only seems to be when driving around town with ligh acceleration. but if i gun it to 80 or so there is no miss. only traveling between 50 to 55 just traveling lightly is when the miss will accure

but every 5.0 engine i pull up that has coil packs the firing order and were they place the plug wires are the same

i know the engine was swaped from an salvage yard. is the firing order differnt and if so what should it be and how to fix it

I NOTICED TODAY WHEN I PULLED # 8 SPARK PLUG WIRE IT WOULD SAY #6 IS MISSING. IF I PULLED # 5 IT WOULD SAY # 7. IM LOOKING AT THE FIRING ORDER DIAGRAM AND ALL THE WIRES ARE IN THE CORRECT SPOTS. EVER HEAR OF THIS ANY SUGGESTIONS.

when driving with the scanner i look at the injector faults and they all read no. can an injector still be bad

tried with the regulator unpllug and same result. when od light is on truck drives fine. when the light is off thats when it will happen

you know i thought the same thing. but the trans shop says it was fine but when that transmission changes at 50 that when it will happen. he said it was a misfire. my thought its in the transmission but how do i test the torque converter if that is the problem.

i did the fuel induction service. i dont have bg but we do use mighty. the egr is new so i wouldnt think its that

1996 Ford Explorer - 5.0L Miss
I have a miss in this truck between 50 to 55 mph. I replaced the plugs wires and coils; checked the compression and the compression was good. Checked fuel and good along with the injectors. When it hits 50 mph, it seems to stumple in when the trans shifts and then from 50 to 55 it has a hesitation. ...
