Re: ZipCode Table - City Field CAPS?
The reason is standardization. We have all name and address in all caps for all of our databases and software systems (we use other software besides Manager Plus).

ZipCode Table - City Field CAPS?
What is the best way to accomplish the following?
I would like the City field in the ZipCode table changed to all UPPER CASE. Currently, it’s upper/lower.
For example, Galax to GALAX.

Re: Manager + New Customer Setup Problem
I believe that the question should be "do you want to add a new customer?" instead of "do you want to save this customer record?". It's too easy in the Manager Plus software for system users to accidently type information in the first name and last name fields which possibly results in duplicate cus...

Re: Manager + New Customer Setup Problem
We can definitely train our people with this practice and have already started doing so but that doesn't prevent the mistake from happening again. I think the system should prompt that a new customer will be added and it currently does not. Is this something that can be submitted for consideration o...

Manager + New Customer Setup Problem
We are having a problem with customers being accidently set up and we think we have found out why and we believe a software modification needs to be made to prevent. See explanation below and screenshots attached. If you’re entering a counter sale and enter customer information, it automatically add...

Re: Upgrade to SE
How do we do a mass deletion without having to delete one at a time going through the user interface?
Do you recommend doing this before or after the upgrade?

Re: Upgrade to SE
I’m talking about the actual part inventory item code, not the characteristics of the inventory item, but the item itself.

Upgrade to SE
We want to upgrade to SE. We have been testing here in our Corporate Office but we have another change that is described below (with additional questions) that we would like advice on if we should tackle this before (using the current version) or after the upgrade (using SE). At our sites, we are pl...

Customer Pricing At Cost?
Is there a way to bill out a customer at cost without manual override? We have several other different locations and these location get to buy the parts at cost. The owners also purchase the parts at cost. I do not see a way in the system to do this without manual override and the clerks having to r...

Re: Exporting to Excel
Just to clarify, can you specifically tell me whether data query will be available into Excel? I know you said above data query will be available but will we be able to use the Data Query functionality within Excel? I think at some point someone has told me no.

Re: Exporting to Excel
When will the 6.5 update be available? You mentioned updating the documentation after 6.5.
Also, can you tell me if Mitchell has set a required upgrade date for both Manager SE and also ProDemand? We are hearing mixed responses.

Exporting to Excel
We are currently still using version 5.9 but looking at upgrading to the SE version. One of the internal concerns is the SE version will not allow exports to Microsoft Excel. We currently using this functionality and do not want to lose it. Is there a work around for exporting the data into Excel? M...

Re: Inventory Over/Short Reporting
We are now able to log in but are getting an error when trying to add certain tables -- Can't access table C:\Mitchell\Manager\Series2\mdb\SMCore32.Inventory.
Also, is there a listing of all the tables and how they are linked somewhere?

Thank you for checking.
We are in the process of year end inventory and having access to this data would be really helpful.
