Re: Installing on D drive
I find it hard to believe but who knows! I have installed on virtual drives and Mac computers. I have never had an issue. I don't know if you have an extra computer but you could partition it's drive and test run it on there to be sure. Just a thought.

I have to agree. This is ridiculous at this point. Just give an answer one way or another!

Re: Time clock features request
I understand. I'm glad you understand, JB, but I don't think we do. For over two years you've been telling us that an updated time clock feature was in the works. You even stated that you saw a functioning beta. Now you say there is nothing? Many of us have been holding off on other avenues as we w...

Re: Time clock features request
Honestly this is getting ridiculous. I even ask John Toy at Bolt-On about this and he had no clues what I was even talking about. I have to wonder if anything is being done at all.

Re: Time clock features request
Hope you are well. We are currently in a long over due "Clean up" process. Catching up on requests and fixes. I will check in and see what I can find out about the time clock function. As you probably know already, it needs to be built from the bottom up and live on it's own outside the management ...

Re: Signature Capture Include Total
Thinking about this some more and had some workflow ideas. The total should show directly somewhere with the signing screen. Make the total a clickable link that opens the same window as 'preview' would. That way the customer can sign with a simple total or click the amount to see the details. I li...

Re: Text to Pay
Gotcha Ric,
That thought has never occurred to me. 99.5% of my sales are to individuals and my commercial clients pay by check. Good idea though. I can definately see the advantages of it.

Re: Text to Pay
Any word on using Text to Pay at the Batch level? Just got off the phone with support and it's still not possible. We can batch pay at the terminal, just not with a text. Anyone who would like that feature please chime in. The more requests the better. Ric, I am not sure what the batch through text...

Re: Time clock features request
I think that is a bit unfair. All companies in their infancy are more responsive for many different reasons. They are small with fewer clients and the products aren't as sophisticated so responce times to clients is easier to handle. As they grow and their product is enhanced to satisfy their client...

My mistake. Sorry I didn'y quite get what you meant.Wanda wrote:That is how I am using it. However if you close the Report window you have to go through all the steps to open it again. I feel it would be helpful if it was an independent window.

Re: New Workflow Manager - Suggestions
Hi Wanda. You can do that today. Go into report Pro and click the "Tools" tab and on the left you will see a "Workflow Manager" icon. If you click it workflow manager will open in it own window and be independant of report pro. You never have to worry about it closing out.

Re: Declining lines without erasing-
Good to know. I actually don't mind it just wasn't sure where it is coming from. Now at least I know I can shuffle the more inportant revisions around so they appear on the bill. Thanks Ric.

Re: Declining lines without erasing-
Speaking of Propack, if you are using one of those invoices, keeping unsold work in the first 4 revisions will automatically consider that declined work and so note that on the invoice automatically. I have seen this from time to time. I was wondering how this was happening. I am glad you said this...

Re: Source Field Usage
The neat thing about the source field is that it needn't only be used as advertising tracking, but for any tracking. While we do use it some for advertising, we also use it to track where the repairs come from. Nice to know how many repairs come from a breakdown, comeback, inspection repairs or sim...

Re: NEXPART Re-Stock Inventory Order?
You can order parts through the PO system. Go to PO's at the top tool bar. Then click add at the bottom . Select the vendor and you can creat a PO from there. You just have to know the part number and other info and you can order what you want without an invoice. You can also click "Restock from Inv...
