Thank you for your reply! He did say that and told me to post here to see if anyone had an answer it would be here. Can I edit the GL code on those payment types and then delete them? And a few of them have unique GL codes already and I still can't delete them.

I have tried to delete payments types we don't use anymore and found that it told me "Can't delete this item. In use for existing payments."
