Re: Workstation messaging
So we have text messaging in shopkey. Can we use it to communicate workstation to workstation? If so, how? When I try to send a text to our dedicated texting number it says it's not allowed.

Re: Inventory check causes unhandled exception
Good to gear it's already been reported. I took a quick look but didn't see it.ricmorin wrote:My suggestion is to wait for a fix.![]()
I documented this about 3 weeks ago and it's recorded with the developers. A fix will be issued in one of the updates I'm told.
Thanks!

Type in part number (have tried multiple part numbers) Hit the search button (magnifying glass) Substitute part box opens Click "select part" button I then get this warning - ...

Re: 7.3.8 First Name Search Delay?
We have this same issue. I know we previously could search by first name no problem. My guess it has something to do with how the search fields are indexed or something. Probably optimized for last name searches? I suspect a lot (everyone) has this issue, but most search by last name and aren't awar...

Re: Date/Time Range Box In Appt. Editor
It is annoying, but an east fix is to do the end time first, then fix the start time. That way it is never out of range and the box doesn't pop up. The other work around is to just make the future appointment for today and then drag and drop the apt for the actual day you want. It's kind of silly, b...

Re: Scheduler gripes (yet again)
Sounds like I enjoy a good challenge as much as the rest of you. We normally do it a little differently but end up in the same place. Customer calls or comes in. If it is a new customer, I start a file for them. If they are existing, I access their file. What ever they are coming in for goes into su...

Re: Deleting Appointments?
I agree it is another click (or three) that I would like to think are not needed. I've just gotten in the habit of removing the estimate from the WIP screen and then going into the scheduler to also delete the appointment itself. We don't get many cancellations so it isn't a big deal, but the discon...

Re: Event Color?
Is there a possibility of adding additional editing capability to Events. As it stands now, events blend in with scheduled jobs, whether they be waiters or drop-offs. Examples: when viewed online all across the schedule all items blend together. When printed Events blend in with everything else. I ...

Re: Option For 'Drop Off' To Follow Start Time?
Shouldn't the drop off time be automatic or another field like "Time-in"? Customer walks in and you enter the RO. Upon printing the RO a timestamp should AUTOMATICALLY be taken and printed on the RO regardless of the schedule. This is very important especially for waiters. If you launch the custome...

Re: Thank you tech support!
Thanks for posting this. Sorry it took me so long to get the database completely squared away. We really appreciate your patience. It was fixed quicker than I expected, much appreciated. My IT guy wants to contact you to get the info on setting up the file that was mentioned. What is the bes...

Thank You Tech Support!
Just wanted to give a quick thanks to tech support. We had an issue with our database size which took down ShopKey completely. Tech support remotely logged in, found the issue and corrected it the same afternoon. Talk about stress relief.... nothing worse than a Monday and no management program! Tha...

Re: Manager SE 7.1.7 Release Feedback
Not sure if this has been mentioned... On the new style appointment tab in the scheduler, it gives you a total of all order hours in a little box at the bottom of the column. Is it in the works to get the same box with the total for the scheduled hours? The scheduled hours is more important to me, i...

Re: Manager SE 7.1.7 Release Feedback
I thought moving the mileage box was silly and uncalled for but maybe there was a reason it couldn't stay in the same place I think the guys doing the design once worked for Atari doing video games. They think it is necessary to make changes to keep players interested. :D The same guys are working ...

Re: Manager SE 7.1.7 Release Feedback
The appointment tab revision is awesome. The spell check thing is what makes me never want to update. It seems like every time we update, something gets broken. The spell check before worked fine for me, it got "fixed" but now does not work because I am required to type in all caps. I understand tha...

Re: Manager SE 7.1.7 Release Feedback
Any idea when that will release will happen? We have to completely change what we do here until then or deal with no spell check.
