Using Revision #9 method doesn't even require such a search step; it's always "there".sbcauto wrote:Yes You Could Use Rev 9. But if You Use Search oil filter then it's right there. You Don't have to Spend Time Looking Through All The Invoices.

Re: Prefill OIL FILTER # From History?
This not only removes the search step, but you'll need the quantity and type of oil(another step), the reset procedure(another step) and countless other things. Make it one all one step by doing all those things once and placing it Rev9. After that, it's a simple copy paste; about 2.3 seconds. I doubt a programmed button looking for oil filters in history would work that quickly, let alone all the other steps.
Another snafu in this request is when you sold an oil filter for a different vehicle that the customer owns but you have never seen. If that sale is not put under a different vehicle as I'm sure it wouldn't, that search mechanism would be wrong or at least confused.
Rev9 has been used for years with great success.
