Duplicating an Invoice

Post by hshubert22@gmail.com »

Is there a way to duplicate an invoice in order to create a new one? There are several occasions when we are doing the same project for a customer and I just need to duplicate that information rather than having to type it all in again?

If the invoice with the needed information is already run...you will have to open the invoice with the information you need.

Highlight all of the information you wanted to copy; then use Ctrl+C (or Edit menu Copy). Then close that invoice. Open the RO/Estimate that you need to put the information into, then use Ctrl+V (or click on EDIT (very top, to the left) and click Paste. That should copy the info into that RO/Estimate.

Oh yeah, Welcome to the forums!

One other thing to ponder is that you can create a canned job for the operation and have it readily available when you need to use it.
