Re: Tire pressures
Keep in mind that this time of the year that can happen. As ambient temperatures rise, so does pressure in the tires.
We usually let some of the air out till they have the recommended pressure for the car and tire. I know there can be various opinions on this but that is what we do.

Re: Tire pressures
We inflate tires according to placard, keeping in mind the tire temperature.

Agreed unless it's a modification then we will use the pressure on the tire unless the customer has the specs. Temp plays a huge issue especially in trucks. Evidence of this litters northern highways during a hot snap. If rubber had a scrap value with all i've seen i'd be a multi millionaire. I had one come apart on a semi while i was passing, that left a mark in my undies......

never argue with a fool, they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience
