ok, here we go. take front wheels off and lower front of vehicle to acess top of engine. i do this to all trucks we work on where we have to work under the hood. drain the coolant down. have a shop vac close to suck up the coolant that leaks out on the top of the engine. take a blow gun and blow all debris from engine compartment. have a magnetic tray to safely put all the nuts, bolts, washers, clamps, etc in and keep away from any open air intakes. if you've never done a regulator in before follow directions carefully. if you have then you know the secret of doing it quicker is to prep the job correctly, have no disturbances and most of all no missing washers and such  . after you've done a few you'll be able to do it in less than two hours. there are really no quick pry, push, pound, swear, or pray way's i know of. you can move things out of the way instead of removing them but i still find it easier to remove them. they can still flop into the way when you least expect them to. oh ya have a pencil magnet handy, if you're anything like me you'll need it. good luck and be patient. especially when you drop the little screws.
