2006 GMC 3500 6.6..HARD TO STEER @ IDLE

2006 GMC 3500 6.6 we have replaced power steering pump and gear box. At a idle it is hard to turn but once you rev it up it turns fine and there is no sign of leaks anywhere. Any help would be appreciated....thank you!

There is a TSB for this condition. GM considers it 'normal operation'. See TSB# 05-02-32-008C. Maybe it applies to your situation.

Customer states if this is normal it should have been like this from day one lol......It has just started this....you can barely turn the steering at a idle and I follow you on the tsb and I have read online others having this problem but its hard to believe that the tsb states normal but it hasn't always been this way.....Thanks Ric for bringing the tsb to my attention we still scratching our heads.

Yeah. The TSB came out last year, so I'm guessing that this condition develops over time. I don't buy it. Sounds like a cop-out to me.

I agree cause I see so many people with this problem now that we have one sitting here and started reading and no one has a correct answer for it...NO ONE....very frustrating!
