all in all with all the information i would agree. but, it won't act up in regular drive or third. just when it shifts into overdrive and it won't act up when doing a brake stand. i bet the scanner is picking up a misfire code because when it drops into overdrive the timing curve is at the bottom of the curve. `without having the vehicle and watching the data stream it's the beast i can come up with. i'de like to see a bunch of debris in the tranny pan to help me justify it being the problem................brianp87 wrote:This would indicate something other then trans? So if Im reading this correctly it only misses at low rpms but not in the bay has to be driving? does it feel like an ignition miss?

yes only at low rpms but not in the shop or idle. only does it when it seems to shift to the next gear.

Does ur scanner offer the availability to watch the torque convertor lock up if so see if it happens at the same time

How bout removing the wire from the connector at the transmission for the converter lock up and see if the problem goes away, if so you can bet it is prob in trans.
