New Autobackup and Reports from the Cloud

Hope everyone is having a good week. I am working on a project at Mitchell that will replace DPR with a real-time auto backup routine; the system would have an up to the minute restore-able image of your data. This real-time backup will also allow you to ultimately run your favorite Manager SE reports from any web browser. To view those reports [when ready - and we are close with the first round of about 20 reports] you would login to ProDemand, click something like 'SHOP REPORTS', enter the password you assigned to print reports in Manager, and you are in. If you have not setup a password in Manager, you would not be able to run the reports via ProDemand.
If you are interested in piloting this, please email me via this forum with your Mitchell or ShopKey account number. You must be on the latest version running Window 7 or better on your server. Installation takes about 15 minutes.

Don't Like The Idea Of My Shop Information Being On The Cloud. don't trust the security. That Why I Picked Mitchell And Not Protractor.

I agree, don't like the shop info or customer info being in the cloud.

Guys,
It is absolutely optional for the users. Your choice. If you don't want cloud reporting, you simply don't install the module.

Ok, dumb question. Will this allow us to get into our system? Like I am at home and remember I need to make a note on an invoice, log into the cloud, make the note, and get back out?
If you need a test mouse I will do it. At least you could then check of the "so easy a stupid person can use it" box.

No Rich. This will allow you to run reports from the cloud, not the program itself.

Rich, you can run a program like "log me in" or like remote access program from your terminal at work and be able to access your ws from any internet device....

I can't see anything that important needing to be done that I will remote in. I keep hearing I don't do anything around here anyways!
