I tried to add "Angie's List" (without the quotes) as a referral type. The apostrophe is ignored. Being a bit of an amateur programmer, I thought perhaps it was being trimmed out, so I went looking for a way around it. Well, I found one sort of, but broke TeamWorks a bit in the process...
I tried escaping the apostrophe by using "Angie\'s List", but that was also ignored. Then I tried doubling the apostrophe: "Angie''s List"; note that those are two single apostrophes, not a quotation mark. When I did this, both apostrophes show. I then tried to delete the apostrophes altogether, but I am now getting an error that it could not update the referral type Description = 'Angie''s List': cannot locate in grid. Attempting to delete the item also yields the same response, except instead of "update" it says, "delete," as you might expect.
Any way to fix this without hacking the database and doing it by hand?

I will use that in the future, although it would be nice if the backend code could accommodate this in the future.

Good question.
From what I'm reading, the user interface options are not working to remove this non-standard entry of your own creation. If you cannot get this rectified on your own, contact tech support and confess what you did. It will be up to them to determine what remedies are to be made available.
