Hello,
Have a workstation in the back room that is shared by technicians and the boss, he wants to be able to have a password protection on Manager. I used to have one that worked great called Game Protector with 5.9 version, now that we are using the new version that no longer works.
Does anyone have or know of a program or other way to implement a password protection on the Mitchell Manager Program. The technicians are not given access to the program at all so the built in security does't fit well (at least I don't believe).
Thanks,
Charles Hale

Re: Password Protection
That's a new one.
I did a quick google search and came up with this.... http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/how-to-pas ... s-program/
You don't want to do this with Manager's internal passwords. It will make life miserable for your boss.

Re: Password Protection
Thanks Ric,
I have tried the 2 on this link and several others with no luck.. I guess my best bet is to maybe have to logins one for the tech and one for boss with a autolock feature!!
Regards,
Charles

Re: Password Protection
I was thinking the same, but that only works if the boss logs out. Probably your best bet, tho.
