A year or 2 ago I brought this up and haven't seen any new replies from you or BoltOn. The report called Referral-Marketing doesn't allow Sales$'s for a given date range and other information necessary to get the stats we need to manager our marketing efforts. I would like your suggestion on a work around. The Referral-Friend/Customer report gives useful information. So what ramifications might there be if we created fake customers called AAA, Google, Yelp, TV, ect and selecting them as friend? That report would work well, but would loose previous history report data. Would be starting over, but better late than never.
Or would appreciate any other input you might have, dan

Re: Report: Referral - Marketing
Dan,
Have you tried using Invoice Sources for this instead? It tends to be much more effective at tracking particular advertising campaigns.

Re: Report: Referral - Marketing
Thanks for reply, The order tab "source" is what we use to track the reason a repair come to us. (Diag, repair, maintenance, warranty). Years of data show that the blend changes and would like to continuing that. But you are right, that would otherwise work well. Another option is to continue in Referral and do "Year End Close" every month, but that will create problems elsewhere?
Thanks again...
Thanks again...
