Password Protect Labor Details?

Post by ErikI »

Our techs have computers at their workstations with access to ShopKey Management. We have setup a general user profile for them, but we are having an issue with our techs changing pay/actual hours on the labor details which doesn't show up unless we look at it or run a report. We've also had multiple techs working on one job but when the second tech is added, the pay/actual hours are at zero. Obviously, we want this feature to only be available by front office staff or the shop foreman. Is there a way to password protect this so it doesn't keep happening?

Welcome to the forum and thanks for your question.

I would suggest downloading the Manager SE Technician Viewer from m1files.com - item #40 to address your concerns.

Once installed it gives them a simple viewer to READ data and enter notes.
