No Longer Prompted To Keep Old Rates?

Post by KERNERS »

We recently made a change to Shop/Haz fees in Mitchell 6.5.49. After doing so and opening current or previous R/O's we are not prompted to keep existing rates or update as we were in the past. When I contacted tech support all they said was that they were aware of the problem but had no information about how or when the fix was coming. The only advise I was given was to revert back to the old price before opening an old invoice or one that should not have changes applied and then changing back afterwards. This is not really a fix. So for now, I can't make any changes to my prices because of this issue. Any ideas would help. Thanks

I don't recall the program ever prompting when a change to Haz or SS was made. On the other hand, I don't recall ever making a change here. That's rare for me. I can assure you that if you make a change to the labor rate the program will prompt on existing orders. I'm running 6.5.54 and recently changed my labor rate.

I ran a test and the program is making the change on existing orders with regard to Haz and SS. Unless you made a huge change to either, the result will be pennies, and only affecting any existing orders. I don't see this as a major impact although somewhat annoying.

If support said it worked that way before and doesn't now, at least they are aware of it. That's about all we can do.
