Changing Customer Name?

My question is how to change the name on a open R.O. so that it doesn't change the name and all vehicles associated with the old name. Ex. Car lot has R.O. #2323 and then come to find out it needs to be in the customer name. I did a customer name change one time and that changed all the car lot cars to that name, not doing that again lol. I know that I have to change ownership, but I don't want to close the open R.O. as there are parts on it.

Go to customer tab,
Click on Name "box",
Locate the correct name, select it.

Do this after the vehicle has been changed ownership to new name correct?

Yes. I know how to change ownership, I just needed the name on the ro to change. I tried a test 1 doing the change of owner then the name change as you said and it seems to work.
