Batch Payment Sorting

Was batch payment sorting ever change to invoice # ? I have a customer with credit of $80,000 and is tough when they send payment because invoice not in order,
takes me hours.

Batch Payment window is sorted by date. M1 has been overhauling many windows over the last year or so. Eventually that window is likely to be sortable/searchable by any column as many others have been converted.
