How do we remove shop supplies from a revision? Or can we?

Revisions inherits certain Estimate settings such as the taxes / fees switch; if you un-check this box that would remove these from Estimates as well.
Once the Revision(s) content becomes part of the Order screen, there is a checkbox in Order Options to remove them from the order:
