We have had inventoried Oil Filters and a few other things. Well now they changed the part # on oil filters for us to a much longer # and I'm still used to the old #.
When we do an invoice and use the old part number it pulls up the superseded #
Is there a way to when I order the new part number through inventory if you can type in the old # and a superseded option comes up?

Re: Ordering Inventory
While you may continue to remember the old numbers on the fly as you are adding them, the program has a built in mechanism for reordering inventory items. It's called Re Stock from Inventory. You will find it on the PO screen in the upper RH corner. Clicking on this, and subsequently clicking on the Vendor will build a list of items below stock levels for you. No need to manually add them.
If you try to manually add, you won't be able to see the relationships. I'm not sure exactly why this is; likely some programming hurdle. Best practice to use Re Stock from Inventory.
