Hope this is the right area in which to enter this info. 2007 Hyundai Sonata 3.3L, alternator replacement labor guide time. The labor guide shows 1.3. BTW, All Data shows about the same. It is way too low.
To get the alternator out, the following had to come out first: dipstick tube, upper hose, top engine mount, fan shroud and electric fan. Also have to drain some coolant, then fill it back up and burp it. It took close to 2.5 to do all that.
If you look up the procedure, it basically says, to unhook the battery, the alternator wire and take it out. Not helpful. Thanks for updating,
Pat

Motor shows 1.9, Chilton 1.4 Both those include pulley removal which would make Mitchell at 1.6

Feedback from the editorial group - here's what came back:
"See if Hyundai has changed the procedure on their website. If so, update our information and send the revised procedure to us."
"Our procedure matches current Hyundai website procedure (see below screenshot). No mention of other items being removed."

Hyundai and Kia service information is very lacking. Conversely, there are 2 tips in ProDemand that allude to some of the aforementioned tips and shortcuts. The power of the people!
