Pinpad with NFC and Signature
I know X-Charge is working to implement the NFC Capabilities into their system. Is there a time frame when this will be available? Also, is there a way to put a signature pad at the front counter for transactions and work approval, such as the ISC250?

From product management:
"We will have new hardware in early August in preparation for the October release of new EMV technology. The customer will have the choice of several different models of hardware, the nicer models include both NFC and a signature pad."

I updated to windows 10 and lost PINPAD for xcharge. Called tech line. They said I needed a new cable. I ordered one online, hope to get Friday and see if gets working again.

Will the signature pad work with Mitchell, such as transferring their signature to the invoice?

Going to EMV by October 1 is not a law. Don't forget that, your not forced to buy under pressure. Your CC provider may charge more rates, and you may be held responsible for fraud.

If any one want more details I can get them. I have a connection with a CC encryption programmer.

I know it's still early August for product management...
Any updates on this from X-Charge and Mitchell?

New CC Hardware
Do we need to buy new hardware from XCharge for EMV? When will this be available?

I noticed there has been some updates to the electronic payment processing within Mitchell. I assume that the signature capture is working now?timbre4 wrote:From Product Mgmt.:

Re: Pinpad with NFC and Signature
My apologies; I was just informed that '2015' was a typographical error on my part and that it should have read '2016'. I will amend that posting right now. The certification to process EMV has been completed and I was told to expect an update soon on the balance of the project.Cory wrote:I noticed there has been some updates to the electronic payment processing within Mitchell. Re: Pinpad with NFC and Signature
I have the new hardware Ingenico ISC250 tough in hand, but am reluctant to install. If you have installed yours, how is it going?
How do you print a receipt a CC receipt, or is it captured when they sign the terminal?
Thanks

Is Mitchell able to print the customer signature from X-charge on invoice? If not when will that be available?

We do not have this capability at present; however I'm pleased to report that a development project is underway now that will incorporate this functionality. Timeframe: by September 2016

Did Mitchell get the signature capture feature going yet? This would be very helpful for us at my facility.

Re: Pinpad with NFC and Signature
I just asked for an update from product management, here's what I was told:
At the AAPEX 2016 trade show, we'll be introducing an additional credit card processing option for Manager SE called '1st Mile' from Merchant Partners. (more details soon)
1st Mile will launch with the signature capture feature; X-Charge is still slated to get this but we just don't have it firmed up at this moment.
