Manually Enter Vehicle Info

Techs can not enter in manually some of the more important info of the vehicle like abs & drive type. Our techs do not like to scan because it asked a bunch of questions which we do not usually need and end up taking up more of there time then needed. If there was a way to customize what the scan of the bar code ask that would be helpful as well.

I believe we are talking about scanning the VIN here correct?
Have you tried OCR of the tag? Take a picture of the plate, let it decode. If there are multiple different option packages, you will get a list of them. Read them over and see what one is correct, example Manual with ABS and and what ever options there are. Tap on the one the applies. See attached.
