Some Model Specifics Missing On ProPack INV?
Some Model Specifics Missing On ProPack INV?
Estimates/RO's/invoices don’t list Model specifics(ie "Turbo" for a Cayenne Turbo vs standard Cayenne, as entered into Vehicle data fields in Customer info) when printed.
This is especially goofy as Manager knows it's a Cayenne Turbo as there's a drop down for this model, yet when we print it just says Porsche Cayenne. Why isn’t "Turbo" printed with the rest of the model info?
Our staff need this information on the paperwork so that we can properly order parts, look up repair info, etc.
(Our sales guy couldn't find an existing template that includes this information.)
How can we get any printouts to show the Model specifics?
Thank you.

Re: No model specifics listed on est/RO/inv's.
Try printing a tech worksheet and see if it provides you with the appropriate information. Tech worksheets are designed to be used as internal paperwork for all stages of the process. The three documents you describe are designed for the customer.

You're correct, Turbo does show up on the tech worksheet, but it doesn't show on the Est/RO/Inv. Now I understand and appreciate it showing on a tech worksheet, but we have our customers first sign the RO, then we staple a tech worksheet to the RO for the tech to use/make notes/etc, so it'd be very helpful to have Turbo printed on all pages like the Est/RO/Inv, as IMHO if Manager prints full Model specifics on a tech worksheet, why does it omit the specifics on an Est/RO/Inv???

I don't speak directly for Mitchel1, but I'd guess it would be a real estate/aesthetics issue. Likely something they had to compromise on.

Understood, and could be. I'd like to hear from Tim McDonnell on it.ricmorin wrote:I don't speak directly for Mitchel1, but I'd guess it would be a real estate/aesthetics issue. Likely something they had to compromise on.

I think Tim is at a conference or a show right now, but he checks in periodically.

You sure you have the turbo selected in the drop down. It should print on all documents that list Year/Make/Model - unless it is being cut off by some model... what year Porche have you selected?

Crud, my mistake(you're correct, in Manager we can see Turbo in Est/RO/Inv)!! This is an issue in ReportPro's ProPack, NOT Mitchell ManagerSE.Johnny5 wrote:You sure you have the turbo selected in the drop down. Johnny, can you please move this to the ProPack forum? Thanks, and sorry for the confusion.

Re: Some Model Specifics Missing On ProPack INV?
Hello,
Right now, on the estimate/invoice we display the Year/Make/Model/Color. What is being requested is the addition of a Sub-Model Color. My development team has added this as a feature request. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Guys, if you want to see this details (full model specifics, ie Cayenne TURBO automatic vs just Cayenne) added to Report Pro, you need to email support@boltontechnology.com , requesting that you'd like to see this feature added as well.
The more requests they get, the more likely they are to implement the feature.
Thank you!!
