Additions to Report Pro Inspection List

We do a lot of inspections. Usually at least one per vehicle but sometimes up to 5. Each inspection needs to reviewed by the SA usually with Report Pro. By adding a score column, SA's could skip reviewing inspections that are all green. This can save time, especially if it's a lengthy inspection. Please chime in with your thoughts.

For my shop I wouldn't use it because as much as I like my techs and think they use their best judgement I need to go through and tweak the inspections. Sometimes it is just a spelling issue, sometimes it is a opinion issue, sometimes it is just conversation that the customer had with me that would lead me to not want to overly worry the customer.

Understood, but with all greens at least you know that you don't need to act on that inspection for estimating. You can always go back and check spelling when you close out the order.

Yes you are right. I guess in my mind I was mainly thinking of the red selections. My apologies!

As a shop owner that uses these inspections, I am liking the idea that Ric is proposing. Could keep my SA doing the things more important than checking the all green vehicles. Hopefully it can be implemented in the near future.

Thanks Ric, turns out it had been a while since I last shut down my computer that report pro had not been off to realize it needed updating. Now I have at and it is a nice feature.

It's nice that the SA can append to the pictures. I will, however, make a suggestion. Instead of scribbling with your finger, could we get a text box and type out annotations? I think it would look much more professional.
