Would it be possible to have the name associated with a phone number be transferred to the numbers in the texting window?
This would be a handy feature.

Re: Phone Number Names
I apologize, but I'm not following what you mean by this. Could you elaborate and/or post screenshots of the areas you're referring to?

Re: Phone Number Names
This is what I'm talking about. We might have a couple with both their cell numbers. The wife drops vehicle off and tells us to call her. When I go to text her the texting window has a drop down with both numbers but I do not know who's is who's because it does not transfer the name that is associated with the number.
Hopefully I make sense.

Seems like the same issue that Message Manager Pro had...

Ok, you must be specifically referring to the "Notes/Name" field? That's not going to be an option to show, because the character limit is much higher than could fit in the screen. The phone "label" - e.g., Cell 1, Work, Cell 2 does show, as does the extension information. Perhaps you could use the extension field to designate when using mobile numbers?sbebenelli wrote:This is what I'm talking about. We might have a couple with both their cell numbers. Re: Phone Number Names
Also when you set up an appointment with a new customer and type in the customer phone # it defaults to "home". then when you go to send a text reminder later you have to go back and switch the phone numbers so you can text.
Re: Phone Number Names
This isn't completely accurate. You can re-order your phone descriptions in the order you'd like to use as primary. It's a drag and drop function. If you put your cell/mobile phone as the first one under Settings > Standard Descriptions > Phone, new customers will default to that phone label. For example, if I setup Cell as my primary over Home, here's what happens when I add a new customer off an appointment:daschapiro wrote:Also when you set up an appointment with a new customer and type in the customer phone # it defaults to "home". then when you go to send a text reminder later you have to go back and switch the phone numbers so you can text.
