What was the original issue? You may need a reflash.
never argue with a fool, they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience

The original issue was lights would come on at night and the left door lock or truck latch did not work; we did program the body control.
We did fix the car with new key fob; the new dorman key fob was bad.

We will not use Dorman products. Every time we try to use it to save the customer money it bites us. It's so junky I can't understand how they are able to continue producing it.

I seem to have great luck with Dorman. However I always use OEM in situations like this one so I really can't make claims about the electronic replacement parts Dorman produces.

Just curious what do you use that you've had luck with?

Window regulators, latches, small replacement parts that commonly brake on larger no serviceable OEM parts, manifolds, intake and exhaust, all liquid and vapor fuel lines, transmission lines, replacement runners so whole regulator need not be replaced, and much more. It's all Dorman not the lower line Help. The kits they offer have bailed me out a lot such as the connector collection, heater and radiator splice kit, specialty clip assortment and a few others. There are certain items I'll never use in the kits but when I needed bailing out it was worth every penny. I even grabbed the complete Dorman selection a part store was tossing out I thought it would be great to have labeled drawers and when I grabbed the first it was pretty much still full. The rest matched the first and I've never been at a loss when I needed something or needed to make something to accomplish something.

I've downloaded all their catalogues and although I will shy away from some things that I feel are to O.E.M. specific. I probably wouldn't have used a FOB. What I do really like is that they make key parts that fail within a module and make it serviceable as opposed to replacing it saving customers money and me a hero.
