TIP: Specs From Repair To Manager SE?

Post by Jeff @ Able Auto »

Is there a way to copy info from ProDemand repair to a repair order. For instance I would like to be able to copy and paste wheel torque specs onto an R.O. Did a search and couldn't find anything. I have tried the cntrl/c - cntrl/v without success.
Thanks, Jeff

Copy & Paste within repair has always been turned off to prevent wholesale copying of our content.

I suspect that we are going to improve on the delivery of certain data types from ProDemand before long.

There are a few things you can do. You can copy a link into your RO for a procedure like OLM resetting. We do this on our Rev 9 oil changes so it's always handy for the techs. For all the other specs for a vehicle, we use the vehicle memo field. We have wheel torque, tire pressure, drain plug torque, etc. It's the next best thing and you only look it up once. :D
