And on another note how do you cut the screen nicely to look like that?

I see from your pic that you are on 6.5.54. I don't think this Estimate becomes available until 6.5.57. You'll get it on the next update.

I use a clipping program that allows me to select the exact window I want.

search for a program called PrintKey 2000, should be a free one and when you hit print screen it automatically pops up the screen that was printed and you then can select "rectangle" and then drag what you want shown and then save that.

Any idea when that update may come out? I've been waiting so long for this since it's been lost....

Updates are staggered to minimize the impact on support. I've actually skipped an update in the past and gotten an even newer one.

I understand but this is important. Would be nice if it was simply added to m1files or m1faqs to speed things along. There used to be one on there that worked with older versions, I loaded it on just to get by. However its lost again.
But, thank you for your help. =)

I use a program called SnagIt. It is not free, but well worth it.

As ricmorin points out there can be no exact "publish" date due to the sheer number of users. The best we can do at this time is to tell users it is now available and then put groups of users into getting the update notice. We have to start slow and make sure there are no show-stoppers hiding in the bushes as this would be bad for users and tech support alike. Depending on what is discovered, a newer version may be created to propagate instead.

We're only a year into this and getting better at it. We work to keep shop inconvenience to an absolute minimum; a little wait is likely better than enduring a crippling defect that prevents doing business.

Because this is a new report that does not appear in 6.5.54, there is more programming needed to make it appear in the list. That makes it less practical to use the upload site for this. If it was a simple redo of an existing file, they would likely use the upload site.

It's important to note that any custom uploaded reports are lost during an update if they are not included in the update.

Just two other suggestions for screenshots: Brian, it looks like you're running Windows 7. It has a native tool to do this called the Snipping Tool. It's under Programs>Accessories. Also, if you want to take a screenshot of one window, use the key combination of alt+PrintScreen and it will only capture the window in focus. Hope this helps. :)

That snipping tool worked perfectly. Now if I can remember to use it and not make the pictures so large when I put them on here.

Curious if there has been any forward momentum in this estimate without part numbers report yet?

Thank you,

There's no forward momentum on this report. It's already available for users with 6.5.57 and above. If you are still on an earlier version, check with support to see where you are in the queue or if your Updater is not working properly. The other option is to upgrade to 6.6.9 manually which you can do from the following link. If you're a multi-user, you must update the host first.

Going to update to 6.6.9 manually, still stuck on 6.5.54

I greatly appreciate the link.
