Invoice Without Hrs - Spacing Labor Side

Hello,

I saw a similar post on this forum but the resolve was to follow the link below and pick line 5c , but was unable to locate line 5c or anything related to the updated invoice.

I would like to have the spacing back to the way it was prior to migrating to SE, what is the proper way to do that? Please see attached image, everything is all jumbled together..

I have done that and they upgraded to the newest version which didn't solve the problem.

He said something about sending in a program change...

I get there is no quick fix at this point but to tell me it may or may never be fixed and there will be no more further communication

It seems to me it should be a little more of a priority!!


Anywhoo I will have to deliver the bad news to the BOSS!!

Ah, I think I misunderstood. Based on the screenshot you provided, I thought the left part of your invoice was cutting off. You're actually concerned about the spacing between labor items, right?

Yep any labor entry that takes up more than one line in the description will not put a space between where that line ends and the other begins....

We are using INV- No hours/Parts/ no rev data & we are having the same line spacing issue.

i am using 6.6.8 Inv No hrs/parts/rev data and I have a small space in the lines between entries. However, that said, we do not type with the cap lock button on. Maybe the larger font is the issue??

Yeah I am sure the CAPS don't do it any justice, not sure why they started type in all CAPS something they have been doing since B.C. (Before Chuck) lol

No way to get them to change at this point, In 5.9 the spacing was not a problem...

With it all jumbled together, I just believe the customer will have a harder time of reading between the small space and it will create more questions than it't worth, plus it doesn't look very professional!

I'm sure our product management will be able to address this. It's very difficult to work with formatting reports (especially when you don't know what you're doing, like me. ) and making small changes can impact so many areas.

I spent an hour messing around and ended up with this disaster.

CHUCK, I WOULD SAY THAT READING ALL CAPS IS WORSE......

I would go to their keyboards, unlock the caps, take a screw driver and pop the "Caps Lock" key off the board and throw them out the window.

Yes I like the spacing, the no-space played funny on the eyes! plus for me it just didn't look very professional !!!
