Which Reports Do You Run?
Please advise which reports you run daily and possibly weekly / monthly / quarterly / annually. Just looking to build some user profile data towards our Super Workshop in San Diego on July 17-19. Your input will increase the likelihood that our Reports breakout meeting is more applicable and valuable for attendees. Thanks.

Re: Which Reports Do You Run?
Daily:
1. Low Inventory by PN : for QOH checking
2. Low Inventory by Vendor: Gets a list of vendors for me to reorder electronically.
3. Referral Friend Customer : Anyone with one visit is a new referral and I send a thank you letter
4. Invoice Profit Summary: Keep a pulse on how we are billing
5. Cash receipts by payment type: Reconcile monies each day
6 .Deleted orders and payments:
7. Discount Summary: Make sure we aren't giving away the farm
Monthly:
You already know this routine, but it includes 3 follow up routines for recommended services, an inspection reminder and a new customer welcome.

Re: Which Reports Do You Run?
Taking this a step further, if you could attend a meeting for 60-90 minutes and talk about reports, what would you like to see and hear about?

Re: Which Reports Do You Run?
Daily: Cash Receipts Report, Daily Posted Charges, Invoice Profit Summary, and Sales Receipts Summary.
Weekly: Invoice Profit Summary and Tech Hours.
Monthly: Invoice Profit Summary, Tech Hours, and Referrals
Occasional I will click on Sales Summary-Monthly to compare same month last year.
From the Invoice Profit Summary and Tech Hours I do my own graphs for Gross sales, Average Repair Order, Billed Hours Total and by each Tech, Completed Repair Orders, and Gross Profit.

Daily
Cash receipts by payment type:to match up against the prev days hard copy invoices. From this I do the EOD (end of Day) to figure out cash and check deposits, paid outs.
Sales receipt summary to calculate daily sales tax for deposit.
Quarterly
revenue by gl code to file sales tax and nj tire fee

Re: Which Reports Do You Run?
If you folks have any additional reporting insights as to which reports you run at certain intervals and a little bit about why I could use them ASAP. Thanks.

Re: Which Reports Do You Run?
I only run reports weekly since I am a one man band.
I use Business Summary report, Posted Orders, Cash Receipts by Type and Invoice Profit summary.
These allow me to review the weeks work and I can make sure nothing is missing in Quickbooks.

Re: Which Reports Do You Run?
We use Posted Orders & Posted Order Details daily to check number of LOF's performed and to check and make sure we have everything in right account classes. We also daily check Tech Productivity to make sure technicians are being put in and Sales Summary Yearly or Monthly to check where we are at during the month. We also use Revenue By GL Code on a weekly basis to make sure we are accurate with our accounting.
For our Annual Reports Notebook: We use Business Summary, Cash Receipts Summary, Sales Summary Service Writers, Customer Activity, Customer Last In By Name, Vehicle Report By Makes, Vehicle Report By Model Year, Category Profit Summary and all the Posted Orders that I have kept daily for LOF information.
