Automatic Recommendations

Not sure if this is the right spot, but is there a way to add automatic recommendations?
Example is LOF, when you print the sticker, it auto adds a recommendation for when ever the next oil change is.
We are wanting to do something like this but say with tire rotations as another example.
We have it added in as a standard note preset that we can just click and add in that way, but were not sure if there was a way that we brough in a job, if that would add in a recommendation as well.

Thanks for your inquiry.

That exists for the LOF sticker feature because Recommendation creation was part of the specs when we added the feature.
It's not available for other types of work in Manager SE at this time.

You can do this with ProPack.

Just curious here ... are you indicating that recommendations can be added for other services besides oil changes thru ProPack or does your comment only apply to lube sticker printing and oil change appointment scheduling like we have been using LubeStickerPro for ?

Other services. Under Lube Sticker Pro in Settings> Advanced Scheduling. You can add your own existing Canned Jobs that are performed this cycle to automatically create a Recommendation in Manager for a time or mileage period you select. The one caveat is you must "print" an oil change sticker to initiate the process. A little clunky if you are NOT doing an oil change this cycle, or added included jobs after you have already printed the sticker.

Things to Note




•Configuring Advance Schedule can be set up with each one of your canned jobs to automatically add a recommendation and an appointment for the vehicle when required.


•You can have Advance Scheduling perform this task by pressing the Print button on the main Lube Sticker Pro screen whenever printing lube stickers.
If you do not have an oil change to perform you can press the Advance Scheduling button and all canned jobs with advance scheduling setup will be brought forward to the calendar. (NOTE: The Advanced Scheduling button looks like a calendar and is in the upper right corner of the main Lube Sticker Pro window. Mousing over it will open an info balloon.)


•Repair orders must have canned jobs when Print button is selected or when the Advance Scheduling is selected.

I must admit, I have not been making use of this feature and will look forward to new ways to implement it.
