TIP: Can't Remove Customer Due To Charged Balance?

I am trying to remove a customer from Mitchell. An error keeps coming up that the customer has a charged/credit balance and can't remove. I clicked the update customer button in upper right hand corner but I am not able to edit the charge box to 0 so I can delete them. What can I do?

You don't edit the Charged field. You make an account adjustment to make the total equal to zero. Once it is zero you should be able to delete them.

Right from where you were, the Update Customer window. You'll need to enter a value that will cancel out any outstanding balance/credit.

You can also do this from the payments section if you want a paper trail, but seeing as you're deleting a customer, my guess is that's not needed.
