Re: Prospect release
Here are some highlights.....
You setup your mobile devices from here....
Each tablet needs to be authorized. Just try to connect and the tablet will appear in the list.
You can set a password, port and ip address of the host under General Settings
You create your inspections under Inspection setup. Here you have several premade inspections that you can copy and augment. There's a nifty pre-made tire inspection component that fulfills most shops needs for checking tires. It's added to any inspection by simply checking a box.
Inspection points aren't locked into simply a red, yellow or green check. You can have a point be a check box that turns a color when checked, a date, an edit box or a number. All fully customizable.
You can start a new order from the tablet as well as perform MPI's, so it becomes a tool for your office staff too. You can scan a vin or enter a plate for decoding to start an order. Very capable so far.
The ProSpect app is on the Apple store, so simply search and download. You will need three things to connect: your account number, the password you set and the ip address of the host including the port number (192.168.1.147:9000) something like this. Actually, 4 things. You also need a subscription and 8.x for ProSpect as it is an add-on.

Re: Prospect release
Is prospect an additional charge? or is it included with Mitchell. I know the texting is additional.

Re: Prospect release
As I mentioned in a previous post, I really like the pre-made tire inspection. Here is a screenshot of how it looks on the tablet.
As you click plus/minus on the tread depth, the check automatically moves according to your set up. You get to input the initial pressure and the ending pressure. Also a manual selection of the wear pattern with optional notation or picture. Very well done.

Re: Prospect release
On the WIP screen, there is an MPI column that shows the progress of any MPI's, including turning green when completed.

Re: Prospect release
You can add MPI's from the tablet or the Order screen. The button on the order screen shows how many MPI's are in progress.

Re: Prospect release
The Android development work has been completed and we're on the cusp of announcing it. We had a different product release (CVG 1Search Plus) on April 15th and decided to push this back to April 29th. I'll be posting about it tomorrow before heading to the Manager SE workshop in Atlantic City this weekend.Cory wrote:Curious if this has been released for Android?timbre4 wrote:The development work is coming along well; we are currently aiming for Android release on April 15th.dandsautoandtruck wrote:Any update on Android compatibility?

Re: Prospect release
Quite possibly; it's really about the operating system: https://support.google.com/android/answer/7680439?hl=enSauvageaus wrote:Are you able to get this on a windows tablet?
