Parts Inventory - Out of Limit

Post by ShopManTim »

So, this morning I want to go through the inventory we have here in our shop and a message came up saying "The list of parts has exceeded the maximum allowed".

Now what do I do? I need to add more for our fleet.

Try checking the Stocking Level in the Inventory edit.

You should be able to increase the limit to 5000 inventory parts on the search. Please refence the image below. If you have over 5000 inventory parts, you will need to include another field for the search.

So, I tried to increase the limit from 1000 to 5000 and for some reaason it does not change. It remains at 1000.

What am I missing?

Did you still receive the popup showing over limit?

Just to confirm, when you change the "Limit results" to 5000, are you searching right after or are you closing the window out and coming back?

I am changing the number and then backing out. When I come back in, the number is still the same so I assume that I am missing something.

Ahh there it is. For the value to stick you must do a search. Once the search is done the value is saved to whatever you have the limit set to. 5000 is just the max you can have as the value there.

Hey Hey!!!!! I was quite certain I was missing a step in there somewhere.

Thank you so much. I do greatly appreciate it.

Happy Holidays to each.
