2009 Chev TBSS? FIXED

This has happened on other GM's with ATC. Disconnect battery, do repairs reconnect battery and A/c wont blow cold. In the past we rotated the temp control and it started working. Is there a reset procedure someone knows about? No codes.

How long was the battery off the service ? Work on alot of rentals most of the time we just have to let things go throught the wake up time!

i called a buddy of mine at g.m. he's looking into it. when i explained the issue he said that asfar as he knew it shouldn't have happened unless for some reason the repair tied into the climate system somehow. he did state that if the positive cable grounded out against the body of the vehicle it may have cleared the kam. he also said that when the battery is disconnected you loose all static protection for the modules. he had an issue where the drop light bulb was loose and flickered causing a surge through the metal cage of the assembly. he had to reburn the pcm. the visual imajery of the mechanic is changing from dirty coveralls and wrenches to white lab coats and pocket protectors.

GM dealer said the control head on this one failed.
