A little.....

There was a thread on iAtn regarding the MORE system recently. I am signed up. Essentially it looks like a cataloging system for OEM dealers. Hope it catches on. No dealers in my area are signed up yet. I'm led to believe there was a staggered roll-out for this. http://www.moreoemparts.com

Well there you go. I'm sure they picked certain markets for a reason. Do you have any dealers participating yet?

Manager SE works with MORE; they're still rolling it out and signing up OE dealers.

Has anyone heard anything else on this. It's been months and still no word on any dealers near me. Is there a site we can visit to see who is participating?

I have requested additional info again recently.

Our rep in Denver reports several area dealers are now part of the service.

This has been on my mind also. I recieved an email from them a week ago but nothing of substance. It would be nice if they got it together.

If you're signed up, you can log on and check your dealers status via 'Manage Dealers'. Mine are all Inactive. :(

we're on it. Some imports are not on it. I use it mostly for Ford, i love being able to get the pictures i need w/o calling them. I simply place the order on-line and the stuff rolls in the next day. There are dealers even in the large city of Grand Rapids that don't use it.....yet. I think it will be like other things. Some will set back and see how it rolls, then when it appears to be working they'll jump on the train.

You can request your username by submitting your email address that was used during signup. Then try a few passwords that you think might work. If not, then request a new password. Don't ask me how I know this.

Just signed up this week. Had 2 different dealers, one Chrysler and one Honda, inform me about this. I set my parameters to 50 miles and have been able to experimentally ( not ordered anything ) to log into several different dealers within that range.

Had to download an image viewer in order to see the pictures but seems to be ok.

I think that it will be very good to view the same diagrams they are looking at and point out exactly what we are after. It gives availability and price but not part numbers that I have found.

I think it looks good.

Pretty much like your other catalogs; if you have SE 6.4.70 you should have this option.

From the home (SPLASH) screen, go to Configurations - Special Maintenance - Toggle Catalog Availability. See if MORE is on the list; if so change it to the ON position and click on Save. Proceed to Configurations - Vendor setup; click Add to enter a new vendor record. Click on Setup Link and enter the credentials you rec'd from MORE and click OK to save it.

If you do not see MORE in the Toggle Catalog Availability window, get the MORE installer at the link below and then run through the procedures above.

wow, that is nice, nice work on this, ran into a snag on install today though, :( i guess we/my salesman were supposed to call so they could setup a license, oops, so we can only dream of using the SE until tomm i guess.

but for those thinking about more, its great, only thing i didnt like about it was having to add the parts to the ticket, now with SE it does that, well worth something thats free, to us anyway.
