1) I HAVE SOME ISSUES WITH 6.4; THESE INCLUDE NOT BEING ABLE TO CHANGE INVENTORY DESCRIPTION ON ESTIMATES.
2) ON SUMMARY RECIVABLE REPORT I HAVE SEVERAL ACCOUNTS WITH A CREDIT UNDER 61+ & DEBIT FOR SAME AMOUNT IN NEXT COLUMN. THESE SHOULD BALANCE OUT. EVERY PAYMENT MADE IS APPLIED TO INVOICE PAID SO DON'T KNOW WHY THIS HAPPENS PS HAD SAME ISSUE IN 5.9 AFTER UPDATES BUT SUPPORT WOULD COPY SOME FILE OVER TO FIX THIS.
3) I ALSO FIND WHEN MOVING A PART UP OR DOWN ON THE INVOICE I LOSE THE VENDOR'S INVOICE NUMBER?
4) WORLDPAC WILL NOT OPEN WITHIN MITCHELL UNLESS IT IS OPEN ON DESKTOP FIRST-SPENT TIME ON SUPPORT WITH MITCHEL & WORLDPAC WITH NO SUCCESS.
5) I MISS THAT PRO DEMAND HAS NO PICTURES LIKE ON DEMAND HAD TO HELP IDENTIFY SOME OE PARTS.
6) WOULD LIKE A ESTIMATE REPORT WITH NO LABOUR HOURS & NO PART NUMBERS AS NO ONE WANTS YOUR CUSTOMERS TO HAVE PART NUMBERS TO PHONE AROUND & PRICE SHOP.
7) ALSO WOULD LIKE EPICOR ONLINE CATALOGUE TO WORK WITHIN MITCHELL AS IT ALLOWS PARTS & LABOUR IN ONE EASY STEP, EPICOR HAS TOLD ME THEY HAVE TRIED WORKING WITH MITCHELL BUT MITCHELL SAYS THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED-THIS IS STRANGE BECAUSE NO ONE HAS BETTER CATALOUGE THEN EPICOR. EPICOR SAYS SEVERAL OTHER MITCHELL CUSTOMERS HAVE SAME COMPLAINT & HAVE NOT MOVED TO SE FOR THAT REASON.
I HOPE THESE ISSUES CAN BE PUT FORTH FOR CHANGE IN NEAR FUTURE. THANKS

Re: Manager SE 6.4 Questions
Some replies for your list as follows:
1. Inventory items have description & part number locked because they are stored records, this has always been true and will not change. If you want to alter Description for all sales, that is to be done in the Inventory list screen. Search the part, click Edit make changes. If you are making a one-time alteration to a part description (for one sale only), uncheck the Inventory checkbox in the Part Item Edit window, make your changes and click OK.
2. Please contact tech support.
3. True. Copy/Cut & Paste do not retain Vendor INV# when moving. This is to prevent pasting to a different order and creating false data. Windows Copy & Paste properties are not aware of destination so it was error on the side of caution.
4. WorldPAC can be made to auto-start from SpeedDIAL button when the proper settings are applied. I will look this up and post details shortly [don't have it installed at the moment]
5. Parts graphics are being added to ProDemand during every development sprint (every 2 weeks) and this will catch up to OD5.com.
6. Checking on this request...
7. Epicor (aka Activant aka Triad) web catalogs do interface with SE; there has never been any plan for disc based catalogs (ShopCAT) to work with SE. (I understand what disc version offers)
