Recover Deleted Vehicle?
How do I recover a vehicle if I accidentally deleted it?

Re: Recover deleted vehicle
The only way I know to do that is to restore your database from a previous backup. Anything that was done to the database from the time you deleted the vehicle until now would need to be re-entered by hand. It's best to get Support's help for a restore.

Re: Recover Deleted Vehicle?
If it helps you should still have access to all of its past history under the three tab cusomer file. Just go to the History tab and hit the radio button for customer and not vehicle. I may be wrong about the exact order since it has been so long but if I am I'm sure someone will chime in to help.

You are correct Paul. The History is still there. If that is all you need, then you don't have to do a thing.

Re: Recover Deleted Vehicle?
Ok, so i have this SNAFU here. We just ran an invoice two days ago. They wrote the check wrong. I look up the customer to call them, look for the vehicle to be sure I have the right folks. So I look up Tom Pennington. and the van we just worked on has history under his name, but he shows no vehicles.
So what do you all think is the "best" way to go from here? Just re-enter the VIN and info like it is a new van? and make a note to check customer history and not just the vehicles??

Re: Recover Deleted Vehicle?
I'd think that to fix such a gap you would:
1) Re-establish the vehicle with VIN under that customer
2) Un-post the invoices in question and put this vehicle to it/them and re-post.

Re: Recover Deleted Vehicle?
Nice! Thank you. For some reason I only had to un-post one invoice, and like little puppies all three invoices followed!
Thanks again
Thanks again
