Cap On Shop Supplies?
Is there a way to cap shop supplies at a particular dollar amount?

Re: Cap On Shop Supplies?
I have mine capped at a certain amount. However we do a lot of jobs that use quite a bit of so called "shop supplies" so I start line iteming them. Usually I'll let a nut or bolt be covered In shop supplies but on the larger trucks and equipment we work on sometimes we use 20 or 30 nut and bolt combinations and they certainly aren't covered in shop supplies. I can remove the cap on particular jobs but when a customer sees a 200 dollar shop supply charge there is a lot of explaining to do
never argue with a fool, they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience

I agree with Steve. This charge can be omitted or modified to fit the circumstances. They are there automatically but are not chiseled instone.

Re: Cap On Shop Supplies?
I tried to edit the cap on hazmat and shop supplies earlier this week. The next day (computer shut down at night) the settings reverted to the old settings. Do I have to make these changes from the splash screen? (WIP closed)

I would suggest shutting down all the workstations except one and then make your changes.

Re: Cap On Shop Supplies?
I got it to stick by using the next button before clicking the done button. Might there be an apply button added to these screens?

Should not be necessary; Done should suffice to apply a change.

The done button did not allow the edit to stick. Did this multiple times over several days. Did not matter if it was done from WIP or splash screen ( WIP closed) Only way I got it to stick was to use the next button and then the done button from the next screen.

Re: Cap On Shop Supplies?
That's a bug to be fixed, just like the Print button in Setup which now prints the Shop Data Report as it should. That was another fix applied recently.
