Postcard Follow Ups

I'm interested in sending out Follow Up Postcards for recommended work. When I choose the standard postcards or the custom postcards, the recommended service work, i.e. brakes, tires..., will not show up on the postcard. I've found that the postcard instead of the letter tends to get more response.

Is there a way to add the recommended work to a postcard?

There is not; the postcard format (limited space) doesn't lend itself to the Followup - Recommendations process.

You could create an "alert" postcard that the customer has some on file but not send the details, so that would have limited value.

On the other hand, among all the things that SocialCRM can provide, it has also automated the process.

I'm a big follow up user. I find that the letters work well for this. I include a fact sheet relative to the recommendation on each mailing along with my monthly promotion and/or a coupon exclusively for regular customers. This gives them incentive for opening the letter. You could even get a stamp that says 'valuable coupon inside' and stamp the envelopes.
