Invoice Design

since our shop updated to 6.5.49 the invoice design is different. before the invoice design allowed shop to request repairs & summary dialogue of work performed with the total labor cost at the end of the created dialogue. presently the labor amount is placed just to the right of the requested work & not the work that was performed.

Could you tell us which Invoice you are using?

the invoice we are using is "invoice stock paper w/o hours & parts

According to my files, that report was modified at the 6.5.49 level. I use a different Invoice but my labor amount is in the same place as you describe. It shouldn't belong there?

the display doesn't flow well. the work the customer has requested has the total labor amount instead of the work that was performed.

maybe this will help. If we could get the labor rate to post where our work performed was listed instead of work requested

Sorry the attachment didn't come through. See if this helps:
Customer issue/description of complaint (Customer needs oil change)
Detail list of service perform (changed oil, filter, etc) this is where I feel the labor amount needs to be not the work being requested.

So the second or lower option in my picture is where you want the labor total to be.

I'll be honest. I feel it's right where it should be. That's simply my opinion as a user. We'll let others chime in if they have an opinion too.

I also checked back a few versions and couldn't find that Invoice where it printed the labor anywhere other than where it is right now. Do you know what version you upgraded from?
