Revenue by GL Code Question after 6.5.54 Update

Post by gordonedwards »

Just ran a Revenue by GL Code report and it was off on Sales Tax by minus .08 cents - it read $xxx.70. Ran a Posted Orders for the same period and it had the correct Sales Tax of $xxx.78. Have not had this problem before, just wondering if anyone else has had this occur?

After doing some more checking, it appears the Revenue by GL Code figured the Sales Tax wrong on the report, all Sales Taxes are correct in Posted Order Report. Just curious as to why? We have always used this report to check our figures weekly and have never had this problem before.

Can you send me some information in a PM? E.g., the date range you ran the reports for.

I have had this problem too and have found that if I have a part eg. Qt of oil at 2.99 and sell a 1/2 Qt it automatically sells for 1.50 $ a few like this changes the taxes by a few pennies, if I change it to 3.00$ or 2.98$ my reports are then the same, the way the taxes are calculated behind the scene is not adding correctly
