"Last Visit Date" Reporting incorrectly

A customer of ours who visits frequently had a question about a previous service we performed for them. In the process of looking over their history, I noticed that the mileage on one of the invoices had been entered incorrectly. It was an obvious typographical error, and one I could fix easily. I un-posted the invoice to correct it, and when I re-posted it, something strange happened. Of course, I made sure to keep the "old" posting date, to keep it logged correctly, but now, despite the fact that they've been in several times since that date, the "Last Visit Date" on the customer info tab is reporting the very old date of the service invoice I re-posted.

Of course, I could un-post the most recent invoice, and re-post it, and I assume it'll revert to the correct date, but I wonder if anyone else has noticed this, and might be interested to know how it's working.

I've just confirmed this. This is a programming error of some sort.

I did what I explained - that is, I unposted their actual "Last Visit", and immediately reposted it so it would reflect correctly. The good news is that typically, I would imagine very few people will have the access to unpost invoices anyhow...
