Just got my first non-Toyota recall, on a Caravan! Thanks M1 for the enhancement. Great work!!!

Have a Journey here. 3D4GH67V69T209628, Has three open recalls. I opened the recall tab and clicked "copy to clipboard", opened the Notes tab and pasted, however it does not have enough room in the notes section for all of the recalls....

Below is the example of all that transfers....

The next version of Manager is planned to have a much large input capability in notes.

In the meantime how about this: You are always reminded when starting a new order for the vehicle, appears on Tech Worksheet, customer invoice, and followup.

Glad to hear the added capacity of Notes. We are using a Labor line to put this info on the order for now.

One question/idea about the recalls.

We service the vehicles for the local Sheriff Department. Often the paper work gets lost in the shuffle. I have 5 or 6 Charger AWD's that now have a recall. To help keep the Under Sheriff informed, I sent him an e-mail. I opened the recall affecting his cars, copied and then pasted to the email. However, very little of the information transferred.

I know that the recalls are a work in progress, and dam i love having them, but it would be nice (when things settle down) if the "copy/paste" option transferred the needed information completely.

Below is all of the information that was transferred. I typed in the nitty-gritty to the email :wink:

PS, please note that the recall was released by Chrysler on May 8th and its May 10th. Talk about up to date!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Mine shows recalls, click on box and it brings up a message about not able to get the information.

I've got a 2012 Toyota RAV4 Limited here with an open recall that opens and displays as usual.

Shows a recall in the "open recalls" tab. (it has an alternator recall) I click on the box to open recall and get.

Toyota works Chrysler does not. Try this VIN 2A8HR54X39R573726.

Apologies, I'm traveling and got the word that the news we are waiting on will be more like Friday 7/27.
