One thing we have never gotten used to is using PO's......I know we probably should, a lot of times we are ordering parts ahead for a job a week out and we end up having to open the repair order to tag the part with the customer name. It might be easier for us to use the PO's if the customer name would show up on there as well. This is what makes Special Orders so great, especially when you couple it with Purchase Orders. You have a clear understanding AND audit trail of everything you order, WHO it is ordered for, when it came in or when it will arrive.
